• December 22 - Winston goes home in time for Christmas He is eating grain with gusto and acting like a great little alpaca!
• December 12 - Nicola's Majacraft Suzie spinning wheel arrives!  The Suzie is Majacraft's most popular spinning wheel.  It weighs only 14 pounds, and has a convenient carrying handle in the folded position. It is made in New Zealand of Rimu wood and spins very smoothly! The perfect early Christmas present!

• December 1- Jed and Capilini are in the Portsmouth holiday Parade - the float wins the "Mayor's Award" and the boys even make it into the Porsmouth Herald!

Capillini and Jed, two friendly alpacas, are dressed for the partas they accompany three wise men on their way to visit thebaby Jesuswhile traveling with the Seacoast CommunityChurch float during the annual Portsmouth Christmas parade.

Curious Winston and Mycroft get an equally curious visitor - Ethan!

• October 21- 3 week-old Winston comes to visit and immediately demonstrates how good he is at sucking down his bottle of goat's milk in seconds flat!  Starting at 15.5 lbs today he is sure to be piling on the lbs!

• October 10 - Anouncing the birth of Jed's Mycroft!  He is very dark brown/bay black out of MVF Oreo (bay black) and Sallie's Fen Jed (silver grey), birth weight 18.5 lbs.  What a cutie!

• October 7 - Announcing the birth of Lyra - Sallie's Fen Jed's second grand-cria and Fosters Cerveza's 2nd female cria (out of 5) - at Harmony Grove Alpacas.

• October 6 - We delivered Puccini and Calvados to their new owners - Cyndy and Jim of nearby Cynjim Alpacas - Congratulations guys!!!
• October 1 - We had fun at the Big E in Springfield, MA last weekend.
Sallie's Fen Calvados won First Place in his full fleeced class AND was Reserve Color Champion!
Sallie's Fen Jed was 4th in his halter class and he and Jack came second in adult obstacle/agility.
Jed's Sherlockwas there with Kyle and came 2nd in his shorn halter class.  He and Kyle won the youth obstacle/agility and came 2nd dressed as Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson - what a pair!

• On the same weekend, Jed'sWisteria gave birth to her first cria - a cute-as-a-button 11 lb curly brown boy with a white chin who Diane and Richard (of Rosebriar Alpacas) have named Winston. His sire is Fosters Cerveza.
• September 13 - We are excited to announce that Kilblaan FarmMelissa Peña, a lovely 2-year old true black female from Kilblaan Farm has joined our little group of girls here at Sallie's Fen!
